Today I contacted Clate Mask the first time in person via the Collision App directly. He will speak at the Collision event in New Orleans end of April 2016. I started using Infusionsoft products around one year ago. The Software was introduced to us by Suzanne Evans Coaching and I support my wife the Realtor Margarete Wabnig, Keller Williams Realty using it. And since we have no local user group in New Orleans I thought it would be a good idea to connect end user of Infusionsoft with each other right now within the month when the CEO is in town. I am a real fan of the Infusionsoft App and Snap App. Especially Snap is very helpful while networking. I am very interested in learning about the Infusionsoft product development for the mobile market place. Right now I think about what is the best way to contact all these over 350 people who I wrote about (if they are still alive) since I started the blog in 2011?
Do you use the slack app? I love their slogan: “Be less busy.” This week I was invited by “the App Guy” Paul Kemp to his new iosstack-friends on slack. Within a month or two he already gathered a few hundred developer and appreneurs in this conversation. I am very thankful for this because I actually didn´t use the application before and it is really worth doing it. Stewart Butterfield one of the co-founder of Flickr is founder of the app. The slack statistics are breath taking. Over 700.000 paid slack accounts 2/11/2016 and slack reported valuation 3/11/2016 is between 3.7-3.8 Billion Dollar after two years! Less meetings, less emails easier communication.
When you search for PaddyCosgrave.com you end up at the WebSummit. Paddy is one of the key player of this key tech event. It had grown tremendously over the last years in Europe and world wide. Collission produced by the WebSummit is the equivalent in the USA – and in New Orleans for the first time this year. People get curious about which impact this will have on the tec-world. Today I got an email letter of Paddy and I don´t know why because I actually already signed up for this event…and I found myself within the attendee list…What do we do with data at Collission? What should be the goals of interaction within this event? Love to talk to you in New Orleans Paddy! Maybe at the BIG IDEA Event tomorrow? It´s my new home…
But for those of you who didn´t sign up yet..hurry up!!!
This is the mail of today…
I’m in New Orleans this week, meeting founders from some incredible tech communities from across the US, who will be here again for Collision in six weeks – the energy is incredible.
Last week, USA Today wondered if we are the new SXSW. We’re not. I love SXSW, but our focus is, as WIRED and VentureBeat have explained, on creating something very different powered by data, design and software.
We’ve added another 500 companies to our new attendee list, including 200 of Pepsi’s marketing team from around the world. If you’d like to join them and 10,000 others at Collision, I’d encourage you to get tickets after prices increase at midnight tonight… 🙂
If you’ve already booked your hotel room, let us know. If you want to stay with our attendees and speakers we’ve found some more great hotel options, after a few days of no availability.
PS. We’re delighted to share that KPMG, GE, Salesforce Ventures and the wonderful SendGrid are partnering with us for Collision. SendGrid joined us at our very first Web Summit a little over 5 years ago as a small startup out of Boulder. It’s been incredible to watch them grow.”
Early December last year Periscope was named by Apple the app of the year 2015. This live streaming app owned by twitter happens to be the new playground of live acts of all kind. Teacher, coaches and artists connect their live act quite refreshing on the go. Michael Cinquino is one of them. Michael invites his audience to start their own #revoltscope . Do it without a script – be conversational with your followers…and allow yourself a constant “learning experience” by doing it yourself. I just started my own steps by introducing Margarete`s house pick of the week. It´s more fun if you interact with the audience and get a conversation going about the topic you like to communicate. Periscope can definitely help to build a dialogue with your audience. You can connect with me at Bfraling
