A few weeks back I stayed in one of the Trump hotels in Miami. It was a great experience. I wanted to know more about this man when I was told he is running for president. It got my attention. I watched his introduction speech and read his book “The Art of The Deal”. But I also followed Jesse Kornbluth’s advise to watch this documentary called “What´s the deal?” This film is about his past. It´s about his ups and down. It´s about how he failed and has created his fortune. Some said it was made on the shoulders of this country. What did happen in between this very old documentary and today? I am sure he learnt a lot from his mistakes.
Donald Trump runs for president. TIME titles “Deal with it.” Michael Scherer wrote “There are some things you just can’t do in politics, not at the presidential level, anyway. This is a game like any other, with rules honed over decades by the pros in blue blazers clutching focus-group results: Be likable.” Donald seemed to play the bad guy role. And it feels like he is likeable exactly for this role. The whole world asks for rule breaker. Politicians made so many unacceptable mistakes. People can´t stand it anymore. One day before I passed from my way back from Perdido Key Donald spoke in Mobile in front of 30.000 people according to CNN.
