My second focus on my website bernhardfraling.com is being “informative”: But how can I be informative if I do not even know what people are talking about? That´s not only a language problem. Sometimes it´s just a vocabulary thing between generations. My speech tomorrow at the Toastmaster´s International is about a solution which is already around for some time: It´s called Urban Dictionary which was established in 1999 by Aaron Peckham. A few weeks ago I got introduced to the Urban Dictionary App. Without this introduction I would not even known that there is such a dictionary which picks up words and explanations you might not even heard of before. The beauty of the concept: Everybody can define his or hers own words and meaning and “check it out” if there is a “follow” for that idea. That could be a personal idea but it should be relevant to a bigger audience.
I guess it´s time to reflect my “wording” deeper. I am going to talk about my idea “Apple Love – Matters” and my personal experience with it in a “generational” perspective. In summary: Since we have an app for Urban Dictionary this project covers all three of my approaches who are important to me:–))) Personal.Informative.Mobile.
